“Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from each man whose heart prompts him to give.” Exodus 25:1, 2
Our brother Brock needed a LOT of help getting to the end zone, or offering his best. In the world of athleticism, it’s widely believed that the path to victory is 80% determination and 20% skill (give or take a percentage or two). Will is the driving force to put all the hard and lonely practice time in. It’s the force that gets the depleted athlete to the finish line when he/she has nothing left.
It is arguably not limited to athleticism.
The child who wants their dessert as a reward for eating the greens will either find the nearest pet’s mouth, or find a way to eat their greens.
The high school student who wants to graduate will either cheat their way to a degree or work hard.
And the list goes on.

The people had to desire to give from all the riches God allowed them from the Egyptians. The gold, silver, bronze, acacia wood, olive oil, onyx stones, etc. All gifts that the Lord had provided them at the beginning of their journey toward the promised land.
Did you notice that all the materials are not only the best, but created by Him? Just as now, He dwells in us and we are His creation; created in His image. There is no better image and no other creation is in His image. He gave us His best. Wow!!
He asks our best from us; the deepest part of our hearts, our spirit, to be completely surrendered to Him and filled of His Spirit, power and love.
With Him in control, as He promises, all things are possible. He must have authority for this to happen.
Lord, please help me to recognize you in all areas of my life and offer only the best. Amen
